A perfect Autumnal wedding. Stunning flowers by Gabi at the Fine Flowers Company. Rich reds , oranges and yellows of the flowers complimented the navy bows on the chairs and the suits of the groom, best man and ushers.
Rebecca loves flowers so she was happy to be surrounded by her favourite colours.
Hurrah we are married!
Raining outside but not for long.
Fun in the wood with afternoon sun slanting through the trees. Cheers! The entire party smile for the camera.

Lynette and Denis Wedding Rich Colours with the splendour of Autumnal Weddings
Lynette and Denis chose purple, lilac and cream for their wedding. The weather was warm and sunny so no jackets were required. Preparations went smoothly and Lynette was calm and happy. After the service we strolled into Richmond Park and I composed a Vogue like photo. Everybody had a bit of fun and got into their own pose!
Special moments in the wood. Then back for a stylish wedding breakfast in the Russell Suite at Pembroke Lodge.

Elaine Mayson Photography at Richmond Hill Wedding Fair held by Wow Weddings
Elaine Mayson Photography had a stand on October 5th at Richmond Hill Wedding Fair held by 'Wow Weddings'.
It was a beautiful sunny Autumn day. The atmosphere in the regal ballroom at Richmond Hill Hotel was friendly and glowing.
I think my stand was the best ever as I was given such a wonderful space to exhibit my work. I chatted to lots of wedding couples and everybody enjoyed themselves immensely.
Thank you Adrian at 'Wow Weddings' A great success!

The wedding of Natalie Whillans & Andrew Bamford at All Hallows Church, Twickenham
Natalie Whillans, the daughter of Nicky and John Whillans arrived at All Hallows Church with a Mona Lisa smile! I instantly knew that the day was going to be perfect
John was very proud of Natalie and gave her the 'grin.' Those who were in Festival Ballet will know that this was his nickname in the company. A spine tingling moment for everybody as Natalie walked down the aisle with her father. Nicky had made her wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses. What an achievement! Beautiful materials were used which required skill and time to cut and sew.
The final blessing was given and the happy couple walked down the aisle.
Congratulations!
Pembroke Lodge set in beautiful gardens with wonderful views is a gorgeous location for a wedding. Surrounded by the extensive grounds of Richmond Park you could believe you were in the middle of the countryside. The bridal party make their way to their favourite spot. The Mum and bride both looking radiant in the porch at Pembroke Lodge.

Reading at St John's C of E School in Kingston and My Signing & Launch at Waterstones in the Bentall Centre in Kingston Upon Thames
A wonderful week. Thank you Anne for letting me read to the four classes at your friendly school.
The children were a delight and it was a lot of fun. Dolphins and Blue whales are a great subject and there were so many questions from the children. The story went down very well and the illustrations were put up onto a screen which helped set the scene. After reading 5 chapters of my book 'The Daring Dolphins and the Divebombers' I asked the children if they wanted more and they were all shouting 'Yes' The first rowdy moment of the afternoon!
Waterstones in the Bentall Centre of Kingston gave me the right royal welcome with a very official desk. Straight away I was chatting to boys and girls as they came into the store. I showed them the illustrations and they loved the idea of rescuing a baby Blue Whale from a sandbank. There are a lot of animals in my book which interests Mums and Dads and the children. I am a member of 'Save the Whale.' My books flew off the shelves and I had sold all of them by 2.30pm. What a pleasurable success!

The Wedding of Ian Mayson & Andrea Hunter 2014
Andrea putting on the final touches of lipstick as she dreams of her wedding day ahead of her.
Pastel shades of blue, lilac and pink gave a vintage slant to Andrea's beautiful bouquet. Gilt mirrors and a four poster bed added to the grandeur of this special day.
Breath taking views of the fells from Irton, Holmrook church ensured special photographs.

The 'King and Mrs Simpson' at the Brindley Theatre
A tender moment between the King and Mrs Simpson danced by Sam Jones and Rachel Teeling-Smith |
RachelTeeling -Smith and Jenny Hackwell locked in battle . Sam Jones as Edward and Joe Bentley face each other in conflict. |
Mrs Simpson triumphant and the Edward bewildered in 'The King and Mrs Simpson |
King George dying in bed, his son looks back at the scene whilst his young wife Mary comforts him |
CONGRATULATIONS! kate Simmons School of Dance.
Emotional and creative choreography by Kate Simmons make this new ballet a gripping drama. It is a first for the school as the music has been composed for the ballet and it was played by a 12 piece orchestra for the three performances held at the spacious and modern theatre, the Brindley in Runcorn. A packed house on the Sunday evening resulted in a standing ovation for this tragic but exquisite ballet. Superb dancing by Jenny Hackwell, dancing Mary. Joe Bentley dancing George. Edward the king danced by Sam Jones, who kept up strong acting throughout the ballet. Finally but not least Rachel Teeling-Smith as Mrs Simpson. Danced and acted superbly. Her demure look in the beginning of the ballet soon developed into a ruthless character, who would stop at nothing to secure her goals. She succeeded ....... but at what cost.
The audience were left wanting more, which is the sign of a great work!

'The Daring Dolphins and the Divebombers' is now in Waterstones Teddington
'The Daring Dolphins and the Divebombers' can now be bought in Waterstones in Teddington.
It can be seen in the window next to Beatrix Potter's 'Peter Rabbit'
I read the book to 9 classes at Hampton Wick Infant School. The children sat enthralled and afterwards asked lots of questions. I talked a little about the Blue Whale and also the Dolphins and the calls they make in the sea. The noises they make and the way they communicate is part of my story.
My book can also be bought on my web site. www.elainemaysonbooks.co.uk

HARRYS BAR IN MAYFAIR LONDON
Harrys Bar decorated and prepared for a special birthday party. Flame throwers and stilt walkers welcomed the guests. Champagne flowed as a flamenco guitarist provided music inside with a magician entertaining the children and adults as they stood around chatting.
The birthday girl wore a stunning black and white long dress by Vera Wang. All the guests were asked to wear black and white in this spectacular party.
Each of the female guests received a Chanel scarf in a box. Speeches were made by the children and husband.
The meal was provided by Harrys Bar in Italian fashion. Good service and friendly staff.
An up and coming Opera singer serenaded the party before the cakes were brought into the room.
More speeches and the disco sprang to life. A small dance floor but enthusiastic guests gyrated to a saxophonist who accompanied the disco beat. Party hats and plastic glasses were donned and Ra ra sticks waved. A good time was had by all!

A Powerful Sinister Production danced with incredible energy
Out of the mist appears a swan danced by Richard Winsor. Instantly the whole drama of the production intensifies. The swan soars into the air. Christopher realises that this swan is his salvation and feverishly runs after it. He dances with energy and total conviction. The swan moves with fluid inverted actions of his arms and feet he poses with strong lines and evil eyes. All the swans arrive in groups of three and four. They jump and twist and turn their necks letting out hissing sounds producing a menacing and powerful dance. The moon on the set shines a steely grey light on the swans upper bodies accentuating their naked torsos and their beautiful syncopation

Female Guests:
The shops are full of black clothes but don't succumb! Direct your eyes away and look in the colours. White with black trimmings look great. Red with black trimmings will be perfect for November/December Weddings. Why not try purple? No black hats, save those for funerals. If you are worried you will stray towards buying a black outfit take a friend with you to shop. Or go to a small boutique where you can get a personal service.
Snow on the ground very cold. Bring a warm shawl so that you can put this when you are walking in between shots. This will stop you looking blue.
